Welcome onboard Hinsdale Public Library!

Hinsdale Public Library has been serving its patrons in Illinois since 1887! It started out with just 150 volumes in its collection and was moved around various commercial buildings before finding its home in the dedicated building constructed for it in 1893. As it has continued to grow and serve the people of Hinsdale it has moved 11 times!

The mission of the Mary Riley Styles Public Library is to provide and promote open access to reading, educational, recreational, cultural, intellectual and informational resources that enrich and enlighten all segments of our community.
