Refinement Assessment
Since the Acclimatisation Phase will involve frequent changes to targets, parameters and schedules to build an EBSM configuration that works for the library, it is important that regular assessment of these refinements takes place.
This assessment will take different forms in different libraries, but as an example a library will probably wish to look at the level of action that is being suggested by the EBSM toolset – if too many items are being suggested for removal from shelves then this may be an indication that that the parameters for Dead and Grubby Items have been set too low.
